On Nov. 7, 2024, Fort George G. Meade held a Veterans Day Observance at the Defense Information School. Maj. Gen. Janeen Birckhead, the 31st Adjutant General of the Maryland National Guard, provided remarks. After the ceremony, guests were provided a tour of the Defense Information School.
