A U.S. Navy Sailor assigned to Assault Craft Unit 5 signals to a U.S. Marine Corps Joint Light Tactical Vehicle, assigned to 1st Distribution Support Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 1, 1st Marine Logistics Group, as it disembarks from a landing craft, air cushion, in the well deck of the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Somerset (LPD 25) during Steel Knight 24 while underway in the Pacific Ocean, Dec. 4, 2024. Steel Knight is an annual exercise that takes place in multiple locations across the Southwest that allows I Marine Expeditionary Force to train as a full Marine Air-Ground Task Force and better integrate with joint and naval forces.
