Sailors aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Lassen prepare their ship to pull along side for a replenishment at sea with the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Tippecanoe after the ship completes a replenishment with the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk. Lassen, operating in the western Pacific with the Kitty Hawk Strike Group is one of seven Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyers assigned to Destroyer Squadron 15 operating from Yokosuka, Japan.
