A U.S. Marine with Combat Logistics Battalion 24, currently assigned to the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) Special Operations Capable (SOC), reunites with his family after a seven-month deployment to U.S. Naval Forces Europe and Africa area of operations, on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina Dec. 3, 2024. Embarked on the Navy’s Wasp Amphibious Ready Group (ARG), the Wasp ARG-24th MEU (SOC) supported U.S., Allied, and partner interests in the region, including the Eastern Mediterranean Sea, to promote regional stability and deter aggression.
