More than a thousand people toed the 62nd JFK 50 miler start line in Boonsboro, Maryland, Nov. 23, 2024. Two of those people were U.S. Army Pfc. Trey Woodard and U.S. Navy Chief Mass Communication Specialist Kathleen Gorby, who are both currently stationed in Washington, D.C. to support the 60th Presidential Inauguration. Members from across all branches of the armed forces of the United States, including reserve and National Guard components, provided ceremonial support during the inaugural period.
