U.S. Soldiers with First Troop Philadelphia City Cavalry celebrate the troop's 250th anniversary with a dinner and escort platoon ride from the 23rd Street Armory to Carpenters Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Nov. 15, 2024. A unique unit in the U.S. Army, Soldiers with First Troop are also assigned to 1st Squadron, 104th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 56th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 28th Infantry Division, Pennsylvania Army National Guard. VIPs in attendance were Ken Wong, civilian aide to the Secretary of the Army, retired Maj. Gen. John Richardson, former commander of the 1st Cavalry Division, and retired Brig. Gen.
