Buckets lay within a Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) recovery site in the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Nov. 15, 2024. After soil is dug from a unit, DPAA team members and local workers carry it in buckets to a wet screen station where it is then screened for potential osseous material, life support equipment, or material evidence.
