Private 1st Class Alex Christie, Culinary Specialist for Hotel Forward Support Company, 3rd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigate Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division tidies the presentation of meats for the Nov. 26, 2024, special lunch service at the Black Jack Dining Facility on U.S. Army Garrison-Fort Cavazos. The special service is part of an annual tradition on-post, where dining facilities provide a Thanksgiving meal before the holiday while competing against eachother for a trophy to mark an excellent overall service.
