A U.S. Air Force KC-46A Pegasus is refueled over the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility Nov. 20, 2024. The KC-46 is the next-generation air refueling aircraft equipped with a number of self-protection, defensive and communication features, increasing survivability in contested environments.
