YORKTOWN, Va. (November 18, 2024) Staff members at the Youth Center onboard Naval Weapons Station receive some practical Stop the Bleed training. The training and practical exercises were taught by Fire and EMS personnel from Fire Station 15 onboard the installation and by Michelle Touitant, the installation’s Fire Inspector. The Stop the Blood curriculum is one of the nation’s largest public health campaigns. Its goal is to save lives by training people across the country how to stop traumatic bleeding.
