Maj. William O'Connor, the Puerto Rico National Guard's judge advocate general, briefs PRNG citizens-soldiers on legal aspects of their next mission. Troops from the PRNG began the necessary trainings in compliance with the executive order signed by the governor of Puerto Rico on January 3, 2013. The operation, Operation Task Force Secure Front, is a joint effort with the Puerto Rico Police Department's Rapid Reaction Force Unit. These trainings cover use of force, warrant procedures, and applicable laws among others.
