NAKHON RATCHASIMA, THAILAND
U.S. Marine aircraft rescue firefighters conduct a bilateral live-fire burn drill Feb. 21 at Wing One RTAF base, Nakhon Ratchasima, Kingdom of Thailand, during exercise Cobra Gold 2013. The drill was conducted with Royal Thai Air Force aircraft rescue firefighters from Wing One. Exercises like CG 13 allow Thailand, the U.S. and other participating nations, to work together in areas of common interest for the betterment of regional security. The Marines aircraft rescue firefighters are with Marine Wing Support Squadron 172, Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
