U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Christian Flores, 273rd Military Police Company Readiness NCO, District of Columbia National Guard is pinned his Airborne wings by Brig. Gen. Leland Blanchard II, the adjutant general (TAG), during a small ceremony attended by his family and peers at the D.C. Armory Nov.1, 2024. Sgt. Flores completed the U.S. Army Airborne School at Fort Moore, Georgia, on Oct. 4, 2024. Airborne School provides Guardsmen with advanced tactical skills, enabling them to execute rapid, precise airborne operations and respond more effectively to both state and federal missions.
