A Marine wife participates in a live-fire range during the 1st Marine Regiment Jane Wayne Day aboard Camp Pendleton, Feb. 22, 2013. Family members shot pistols and rifles or ran through a simulated patrol with their Marines. For many it was their first time handling a firearm and a chance for their husbands to explain the proper techniques.
