Aaron Vu, a North Bend, Oregon native, assistant maintenance chief with Exercise Support Division, MAGTFTC, MCAGCC, left, receive a plaque from Patrick Byrne, executive director of the Armed Service YMCA, as the ASYMCA Service Members of the Quarter at a luncheon hosted by ASYMCA at the Copper Mountain College’s Bell Center, Joshua Tree, California, Sept. 25, 2024. Whitley has been recognized after being meritoriously promoted to the rank of corporal and taking over as the Staff NCOIC of the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System/ Administrative Support Office. Vu has been recognized after receiving a Meritorious Mast for superior performance, testing 17,592 gallons of aviation fuel, which resulted in the issuing of 52,776 gallons of fuel for 146 aircraft.
