U.S. Marines conduct a bilateral live-fire training exercise with Royal Thai Air Force aircraft rescue firefighters Feb. 21 at Wing One RTAF base, Nakhon Ratchasima, Kingdom of Thailand in support of Cobra Gold 2013. Exercises like CG 13 allow Thailand and the U.S. to work together in areas of common interest for the betterment of regional security. The Marines are aircraft rescue firefighters with Marine Wing Support Squadron 172, Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
