U.S. Marine Corps 1st Lt. Hunter Kowalski prepares his Marines for an infantry competition on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Oct. 22, 2024. The competition tested Marines’ infantry skills while under physical duress and built esprit de corps among small units through friendly rivalries.
