NAVAL BASE SAN DIEGO (Oct. 22, 2024) Damage Controlman 3rd Class Cantalisia Baehre, left, Damage Controlman 3rd Class Ruben Rubio, center, and Damage Controlman 2nd Class Danny Wallis, assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Jack H. Lucas (DDG 125), race to patch a hole in a pipe for a damage control olympics competition during Surface Line Week 2024 Oct. 22, 2024. The weeklong competition, hosted by Commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet, highlights professional and athletic skills while enhancing Surface Warfare culture, connectedness, and team building among the Surface Force.
