Firefighter Edward Voorhaar, Naval Air Station Patuxent River Fire and Emergency Services, ties a ribbon to the wrist of role player victim during an active shooter exercise, Feb 20. The ribbons green, yellow, red and black help other emergency responders easily identify the status of the patient and determine whether urgent care is needed. The exercise is in support of the Navywide exercise Citadel Shield 2013 and will assist the installation's security forces to improve readiness and response to potential threats.
