Akiva Senthill received one of the five scholarships that were awarded by Norfolk Naval Shipyard’s Federal Managers Association. Senthill’s mother, IT Infrastructure and Operations Division Head (C109.1) Monica Senthill. Senthill will be attending her sophomore year at the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, majoring in civil engineering. Federal Managers Association awards five scholarships each year to the children of shipyard employees.
