    III Marine Expeditionary Force   

    Royal Thai soldier 2nd Lt. Chitavorn Jirajan briefs a group of community members about common knee problems Feb. 11 during a cooperative health engagement at Nong Ya Plong village, Ban Dan Lan Hoi District, Sukhothai province, Kingdom of Thailand, during exercise Cobra Gold 2013. Jirajan is a health care practitioner with the 3rd Region, Royal Thai Army, from Narsoun Fort. U.S service members are with Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, out of Okinawa, Japan. Exercise Cobra Gold is the largest multinational exercise in the Asia-Pacific region and provides Thailand, the U.S., Singapore, Japan, Republic of Korea, Indonesia and Malaysia an opportunity to maintain relationships and enhance interoperability.
