Jason Burrell, technical program manager for the Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricants Mandatory Center of Expertise (POL-MCX), welcomes participants before a tour, Sept. 19, 2024, of the fueling systems located at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. Twenty U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, employees received an in-class program refresher and then traveled to the nearby air base for a walkthrough of their Type III pumphouse and along with a technical overview or their fueling systems. The POL-MCX is recognized by the Department of Defense as the authority for military fuel storage and delivery systems by providing clean, dry fuel reliably and safely to support the mission and troops.
