U.S. Marine Lance Cpls. Jordan L. Davidson, left, and Joe N. Cusson dig a small trench Feb. 14 to allow water to flow through a fording of a newly built road in the future expansion of the live-fire training area at Ban Chan Krem, Kingdom of Thailand. The road expansion is part of field training during exercise Cobra Gold 2013, which is a multinational exercise that promotes regional prosperity, security and cooperation among partner militaries. Davidson and Cusson are both engineer equipment operators with Combat Assault Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
