Various units train at the Fort Dix MSCT (Medical Simulation Training Center) during their Combat Medical Re-Certification. Army combat medics play a critical role by movement of an injured soldier and applying first aid and trauma care to simulated wounded Soldiers. These soldiers shown are being re-certified for Combat Medical by doing so in a combat atmosphere. This training program provides enlisted Army personnel with a foundational knowledge of Basic Life Support, Basic Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) skills, battlefield medicine principles, airway management, patient assessment, limited primary care, medical emergencies, trauma, ambulance operations, and Tactical Combat Casualty Care.
