A Sailor directs an F/A-18E Super Hornet from the "Kestrels" of strike fighter squadron (VFA) 137 on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) in the Pacific Ocean, Sep. 23, 2024. Nimitz is underway conducting Tailored Ship’s Training Availability and Final Evaluation Problem (TSTA/FEP). TSTA/FEP prepares the ship and crew for full integration as a carrier strike group through a wide range of mission critical operations.
