Sgt. Brittany Simmons jumps on the last beat of a song during the 77th Army Band's Farewell Concert on Sept. 20, 2024, at McMahon Memorial Auditorium in Lawton, Okla. Simmons' participation in the concert was a surprise to the Lawton-Fort Sill Community. Although currently stationed at Fort Knox, she performed with the 77th Army Band one last time, her assigned unit for the previous two years.
