The light therapy room at the RAF Lakenheath Health and Wellness Center reopened Feb. 7, 2013 and was recently painted by Lt. Col. Elizabeth Anderson-Doze, 48th Aerospace Medicine flight commander, and her son, Justin Doze, to depict a Jamaican beach scene. A 20-30 minute session in the light therapy room between can counteract the symptoms of seasonal affective disorder such as fatigue, depression and decreased energy levels one can get from lack of sunlight during the winter months.
