Fire Controlman 2nd Class Charles Heeneman, assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1), performs a mechanical advantage control hold (MACH) take-down during the Armed Sentry and Security Reaction Force-Basic (SRF-B) class. The class is a two week course teaching sailors about rules and regulations as a watch stander, and provides sailors with proper firearms training, weapon familiarization, firearm safety, tactical maneuvers and proper use of deadly force.
