A Marine assigned to 2nd Light-Armored Reconnaissance Platoon, Weapons Company, Battalion Landing Team (BLT) 3/2, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), provides suppressive fire with an M240B machine gun, mounted on a Light-Armored Vehicle, during a night raid exercise aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Feb. 01, 2013. The 26th MEU is conducting Composite Training Unit Exercise, the final phase of a six-month pre-deployment training program. The 26th MEU operates continuously across the globe, providing the president and unified combatant commanders with a forward-deployed, sea-based quick reaction force.
