Sue Tiedeman, from Delmar, NY, received her degree from Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, joined the US Navy Band as French Horn instrumentalist, and went on to have a fruitful career serving as CMEO, Ceremonial Band Unit Leader, Specialty Groups Chief-in-Charge, and Mentor Program coordinator. Master Chief Tiedeman leaves the Navy Band in better shape than when she arrived, leaving positive marks upon her many notable positions.
