U.S. Marines with II Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Rotational Forces – Europe 24.2, crawl through an obstacle during a three-kilometer obstacle course as part of exercise Archipelago Endeavor 24 in Berga, Sweden, Aug. 30, 2024. Exercise Archipelago Endeavor 24 increases compatible interoperability between Marine Corps and Swedish Amphibious Forces by executing combined amphibious operations in and around the Baltic Sea littorals. MRF-E, under the command and control of Task Force 61/2, focuses on regional engagements throughout Europe by conducting various exercises, mountain-warfare training, and military-to-military engagements, which enhances the overall interoperability of the U.S. Marine Corps with allies and partners.
