MWSS-271 Marines fuel a U.S. Air Force C-146A Wolfhound as part of exercise Northern Viking 24

U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Dylan Pennington, from Pennsylvania and Cpl. Rory Culkin, from Maryland, both bulk fuel specialist with Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 271, run a fuel hose to a U.S. Air Force C-146A Wolfhound during forward refueling-point operations at Keflavik international airport, in Keflavik, Iceland, Sep. 2, 2024. MWSS-271 took part in Exercise Northern Viking 24 to maintain our warfighting mentality and readiness to execute the six functions of aviation and enable 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing to be forward deployed engaging anytime, anywhere, and at a moments notice.
