Members of the Armada de Chile, Cuerpo de Infantería de Marina (Chilean Marine Corps) shared their casualty triage and evacuation tactics, techniques, and procedures with the U.S. Marines in order to improve bilateral cooperation. UNITAS, which is Latin for “unity,” was conceived in 1959 and has taken place annually since first conducted in 1960.
