U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Dulce Hamilton, an engineer equipment mechanic with Marine Wing Support Squadron 373, Marine Air Control Group 38, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, holds a coin presented by Lt. Gen. Michael Cederholm, the commanding general of I Marine Expeditionary Force, at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, California, Sept. 4, 2024. “I’m definitely honored. I know that my Non-Commissioned Officers were able to recognize my hard work and responsibilities,” Hamilton said. Hamilton was recognized for her exceptional contributions to MWSS-373's Heavy Equipment Platoon. Over the quarter, Hamilton conducted 25 Joint Limited Technical Inspections on heavy equipment, managed $200,000 worth of parts, safely disposed of 700 gallons of hazardous materials, and volunteered 120 hours of her time in the local community. During Cederholm’s tour of MACG-38, he recognized standout Marines and viewed the different warfighting capabilities of MWCS-38 and MWSS-373. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Jennifer Sanchez)
