    Photographic documentation after the emplacement of the Apollo Lunar Sample Experiment Package ALSEP instruments. The Radioisotopic thermoelectric generator is in the foreground. The ribbons are electrical conductors that connect the control station to instruments deployed to the left and to the right. The object far beyond and to the right of the central station is the laser ranging retroreflector LRRR. Images were taken by Astronauts Shepard and Mitchell during EVA 1 of the Apollo 14 mission. Original film magazine was labeled JJ, film type was S0168 High Speed Color Reversal, Interior/Surface, 60mm lens with a sun elevation of 12 degrees.
