U.S. Marines with 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment (REIN), 7th Marine Regiment, and a service level training instructor with Tactical Training and Exercise Control Group, Marine Air-Ground Task Force Training Command, Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center, fire a Multi-Role Anti- Armor Anti-Personnel Weapon System during a Marine Air-Ground Task Force Distributed Maneuver Exercise as part of Service Level Training Exercise 5-24 at Training Area West, MCAGCC, Twentynine Palms, California, Aug. 15, 2024. MDMX is a combined arms training event that combines live-fire and maneuver with virtual environments, expanding participating units' knowledge of the battlefield. SLTE 5-24 is purpose built to train, develop, and validate the Infantry Battalion Experiment as part of a larger MAGTF operation as a Stand-in Force across a contested multi-domain distributed environment.
