JSC2000-E-2644 (13 February 2000) --- This strip of land on the Kamchatka peninsula in Russia is one of two frames which together cover an area of 150 kilometers by 50 kilometers. The wider scene is available in JSC2000-E-2643. This is the left half of the primary image. The area is located at 162 degrees, 54 minutes east longitude and 60 degrees, 0 minutes north latitude. This mountainous scene also reveals many rivers and forests. All X-SAR imagery and related charts and maps are provided by DLR, Germany's national aerospace resource center as well as the national space agency.
