U.S. Marine Corps Master Sgt. Caleb Jones, Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) team sergeant and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technician, salutes U.S. Army Capt. Jackson Smith, DPAA team leader, during a repatriation ceremony on Guadalcanal, Solomon Islands, Aug. 23, 2024. During the ceremony, team members and members of the Solomon Islands government transferred possible osseous material to DPAA for potential identification at the DPAA laboratory on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.
