Paolo DiGirolamo, Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) recovery team member Short Term Individual Augment (STIA), gives an introductory speech during a repatriation ceremony on Guadalcanal, Solomon Islands, Aug. 23, 2024. During the ceremony, team members and members of the Solomon Islands government transferred possible osseous material to DPAA for potential identification at the DPAA laboratory on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.
