U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Dylan Gross, Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) recovery team member Short Term Individual Augment (STIA), and U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Aaron McCarthy, DPAA Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) STIA, stand at parade rest during a repatriation ceremony on Guadalcanal, Solomon Islands, Aug. 23, 2024. During the ceremony, team members and members of the Solomon Islands government transferred possible osseous material to DPAA for potential identification at the DPAA laboratory on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.
