Bill Stein performs in his Edge 540 during the practice show for the Frontiers in Flight Air Show Aug. 24, 2024, at McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas. The air show will also feature static displays to include the KC-46A Pegasus, KC-135 Stratotanker, B-52 Stratofortress, B-1 Lancer and local celebrity WWII-era B-29 Superfortress “Doc.” Wichita, the location of McConnell, is known as the Air Capitol of the World and embraces its rich aviation history, offering support to Team McConnell Airmen and their families.
