Sgt. Darren Malone, an Army Electronic Warfare Specialist (17E) served as a technical subject matter expert at Arcane Thunder 24 on August 15, 2024, at Agadir, Morocco. “My job enables the command to map the battlefield on the electromagnetic spectrum,” said Malone. “Electronic warfare is a staple at every level of command in the Army, and is a capability that streamlines operations and provides real time feedback for the commander to make decisions.”
Approximately 300 service members from the U.S., Morocco, the United Kingdom and Germany, are taking part in Exercise Arcane Thunder 24, August 5-16 in Germany and Morocco. The exercise will build on Morocco and U.S. strong and strategic relationship to ensure that partner forces are equipped with the capability to synchronize and employ non-lethal effects across all domains against adversaries.
