Local high school students from Uruma City, Okinawa visited Camp Foster on August 22, 2024, as part of their weeklong English Camp coordinated through Camp Courtney Community Relation Specialist Ichiro Umehara and Uruma City.
They resumed the English Camp for the first time last year after the pandemic and this is the 21st camp.
Col. Fred J. Ingo III explained to the students about the mission of Marine Corps and the difference between III Marine Expeditionary Force and Marine Corps Installation Pacific at MCIPAC HQ.
