Irish Air Corps Commandant Finbar McArdle, 301st Tactical Helicopter Squadron commanding officer, flies an UH-1N Huey helicopter July 15, 2024, at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Mont. The 40th Helicopter Squadron hosted two Irish Air Corps pilots for the first round of flying exchanges between the IAC and the 582nd Helicopter Group. The purpose of these exchanges was to gain firsthand AW-139 operational knowledge while providing the IAC with high alpine advanced flying technique training.
