ZUSHI, Japan (Aug. 19, 2024) — Command Master Chief Dennis Hunt, with Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY), speaks to students of Ikego Elementary School onboard CFAY’s Ikego Detachment gathered for the first day of the 2024-2025 school year. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet’s forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
