The WBGT monitor compiles temperature, humidity, wind speed, sun angle, and cloud cover data, which allows bioenvironmental engineers to prevent heat stress injuries and ensure the safety of Airmen by recommending work-rest cycles and advising when to issue black flag conditions for outside activity.
