Nondestructive inspection specialists assigned to the 92nd and 141st Maintenance Squadrons pose inside the NDI shop at Fairchild Air Force Base, July 30, 2024. NDI specialists use a range of tools and various techniques, including x-rays and ultrasound, to examine aircraft parts and equipment for flaws that may not be visible to the naked eye. Our NDI Airmen work closely with other maintenance shops to ensure our KC-135 Stratotankers are always ready to complete Fairchild AFB’s air refueling mission.
