Michael Alvarez with Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 24, Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 24, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW) receives his Aerial Observer Wings from Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 363, MAG-24, 1st MAW at Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, Aug. 9, 2024. To become certified as an aerial observer, Alvarez had to complete the aerial observer syllabus and earn the qualification.
