A member of the D.C. Militia rests in peace at Historic Congressional Cemetery, Washington, D.C., Aug. 1, 2024. At least 23 militiamen who served in the Battle of Bladensburg are interred at Historic Congressional Cemetery. On August. 24 a wreath laying ceremony in partnership with the D.C.
