    U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Samuel Fortune, an expeditionary firefighting and rescue specialist with Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron (H&HS), Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, climbs up a ladder during an aircraft rescue and firefighting-themed physical training exercise at Suwon Air Base, South Korea, Aug. 1, 2024. Marines with Marine Wing Support Squadron 171 and H&HS are attached to Marine All-Weather Fighter Attack Squadron 224, known as the Fighting Bengals, as the flying squadron supports operations out of South Korea. The Fighting Bengals traveled to Suwon Air Base, South Korea, to enhance their standard of readiness and lethality with our South Korean allies and joint forces. Fortune is a native of Kansas.
